The SRC writes to inform the student body that, the Virtual classroom (Moodle) platform has been procured. Installation and configuration is ongoing to upload staff, students and programmes details.
The second semester courses are being loaded – we are hoping to make the platform available for training by Tuesday 21/04/2020. There would be a self-tutored manual on the Moodle (LMS) for all stakeholders to access and use. Furthermore, there would be FAQ for support.
Lecturers training will be organized along side timetable lectures and all training videos will be made available on the vclass for members to access. Students will be provided with manual on their Moodle page for self tutoring. A call and what’s up support center is being put in place to provide adequate support for staff and students.
All lecturers are to prepare their lecture notes and other training materials and upload them onto their various course pages for students to access for free.
Data and voice on existing and new SIM cards distribution to staff and students will start from 22- 30/04/2020. Dedicated phone numbers will be provided in due time to assist members on ALL technical issues (email, Moodle, zoom and related matters).
The SRC urge all students to comply with the directives of the president of the Republic, Ministry of Health, Ministry of information and Ghana Health Service as we all fight against the pandemic Covid_19.
kindly contact the SRC PRO or any SRC Executive for any concerns, questions and suggestions.
We count on your usual cooperation.

I think it is good idea
Please we want the e learning to start as soon as possible
I am glad to hear this
I agree on this learning
Pls what about those in areas with poor networks because I think it’s obvious that a number of people aren’t as fortunate as others and won’t be able to partake in this…….And if that’s the case how does it help knowing that some have paid their fees and all but can’t get good
access this because of situations that can’t be controlled. Especially when there’s a lockdown
I strongly agree with this initiative, at least student’s can have lectures on their own comfort zone with out rushing to the campus always.
I agree with e learning
It improve technology and make use of internet for students 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
When are we getting the SIM card
That x good
It’s not going to help majority of the student body because I believe whatever is thought will not be thought again. What about those without the equipment? Students needs a conducive environment and a sound mind to learn.. NB. We home but our mental well being should be regard. Thanks
Is a great idea
Thanks to SRC Representatives
Good
Is a very good initiative but those who have not made full payment of their fees are they allowed to partake in the e_learning?
Comment *is a very good idea but those in remote areas whose find it difficult getting network would not take it easy to study.
Great idea
Good initiative
So what actual date are we starting with the e-learning
Please can we get the actual link of the e-learning sent to our various course groups via WhatsApp or any media
it wont help us …..some of us dont have smart phone and me for instance dont have a good network at my place….and have to have a sound mind to learn..we been at home learning wont help…..
Comment *it will really help, buh some areas have poor network, thanks SRC
I strongly agree on it that it will help most of us to participate since it’s free on E-learning
E learnine will help us know mUchida about technology
Your concern is much appreciated
Honestly, the E learning project will not benefit as all. Because most student dont have asses to smart phones and lap top due to their financial status. Most student like myself are slow learners. Imagine been thought in a lecture hall compared to E learning. I will go for been thought in a lecture hall. I hope we will put these things into consideration before “if” we will start the E learning
